Dans un petit port britannique de la côte sud, l'Américain Simon Wells est dévalisé par une bande de blousons noirs dirigés par King. La soeur de ce dernier, Joan, qui a servi d'appât, prend la défense de Wells et s'enfuit avec lui à bord de son petit yacht. Un peu plus tard, caché dans une maison sur la falaise, refuge de la sculpteur Freya, la maitresse de Bernard, un agent du gouvernement, le couple est retrouvé par King et sa bande. En fuyant à nouveau, Joan et Simon tombent de la falaise et prennent pied dans une grotte où ils sont bientôt rejoints par King. (ESC Distribution)

No, let's not beat around the bush, the climax and unveiling of everything is not as great as one would think, and the author of the original probably didn't know how to camouflage it anymore. However, it has quite a good touch of the 1950s, that unforgettable fear and its consequences. The punchline is definitely not the strong point of the movie, but I might still hear that opening song in my head for a long time. Oliver Reed excels in it.
