Stephen King's novel of the same name isn't among the best of what the master of horror has ever produced. However, the main problem with this film is its poor production value, especially the tacky, overly cheap-looking effects, which are a disgrace even for a TV movie. David Morse's performance as the pilot is noteworthy in the cast, but otherwise, it's a very average affair. Overall impression: 45%.
