The behind-the-scenes struggles, the traditional elements of the British monarchy, and to top it all off, the character of the Queen, whose development is portrayed in a great way. Classy, decadent, but at the same time not losing the natural point of view of a person who is becoming aware of their strengths and weaknesses. The final crescendo is just the icing on the cake.
