On June 14th, 1940, the troops of the Wehrmacht entered Paris and so began the occupation of the French capital. The enemy imposed its law for more than four years. A lot has been said on the daily lives of the French during this period made of shortages, repressive measures and assaults but never from the occupant's standpoint. The soldiers, propelled into the French dream, led a complete opposite life to the one of the Parisians. They will tell us about the double life they led, one as tourists and the other as torturers – the memories of their encounters and love stories. How did they react to the splendour of the "City of Lights"? What happened to the 200.000 children who were conceived with French women? In this particular atmosphere, was there room for war? An exclusive documentary that reveals an occupied Paris through a surprising perspective! (texte officiel du distributeur)
