Les égyptologues européens Dubois, Giles et Bray découvrent la tombe du prince égyptien Ra, ils y trouvent le corps momifié du prince. Alexander King, un homme d'affaires, s'intéresse à cette découverte et achète la momie aux trois égyptologues avec l'intention de l'exposer dans un musée britannique. Une fois exposée, la momie ressuscite pour se venger. Pendant que nos trois amis essaient d'échapper à la momie, ils découvrent que c'est un personnage sinistre aux instincts meurtriers qui lui a rendu la vie et qu'il est peut-être le seul qui soit capable de l'arrêter.
