Love The Coopers

Considered how many A movie actors they managed to put into this film, this Christmas dramedy is quite bad. It’s just a story about one dysfunctional family, where several storylines are brought together at the Christmas table. The problem is that all those characters’ problems are just boring. Everything is supposed to be mitigated by the Christmas atmosphere, but in a movie like this it won’t get you over the moon. No matter how many candles do you light in an attempt to bring in some Christmas cheer, the characters won’t become less annoying. (11/12/2019)

I really liked the romantic storyline between Olivia Wilde and Jake Lacy, which was very well crafted and even better acted. The other stories annoyed me a bit at times, but I was pleased with the positive vibe of the whole film, which I can't imagine Christmas time without. (65%) (02/01/2023)

Such the classic Christmas movies, when the family has troubles, mostly among themselves, but in the end it turns out that everyone is happy. Such the picture of unbalanced lunatics who can at least reconcile for one day a year. But I liked the cast so much that it entertained me at times. (03/03/2016)
