Ben (Kevin Hart), fraichement diplômé de l'académie de police veut maintenant devenir détective comme son beau-frère. Mais James (Ice Cube) pense qu'il n'est toujours pas prêt à assumer cette responsabilité. Contre son gré, il va devoir l'emmener avec lui à Miami sur la trace d'une nouvelle affaire. Leur plan de faire un aller-retour rapide là-bas, va vite être compromis par leurs méthodes de travail peu orthodoxes pouvant faire capoter une enquête cruciale... et le mariage de Ben qui approche ! Under different circumstance, I quite like these buddy action movies. With this one, however, I couldn’t understand why they turned the otherwise interesting car chase into a game video from “Grand Theft Auto 3”. Including the graphics. And that wasn’t even the only stupid scene in this movie. An incredibly chatty Kevin Hart along with the wacky Ken Jeong won’t save the movie either. So, what else can I say? I will happily avoid this piece next time.

Buddy movies are films that I generally like, but this is just recycling everything you could have seen during the entire filming of these movies. Moreover, when it comes to police officers, there is basically not a single good idea, not a single original joke here. And yet, for some reason, it's not garbage to me. Yeah, one of the reasons will be Olivia Munn.
