Chaque fin de semaine après le travail, Martin a le choix entre sortir avec ses amis ou retrouver sa femme et son fils. Son quotidien l'ennuie, il a besoin de liberté. Expérience de mort imminente il y a vingt ans et à la manière nordique. Tout aussi ouvert et sincère, mais pas autant poétique, conscient et agréablement écrit en vers. Plutôt adapté à l'âge du personnage principal, plus hésitant et confus. Plus brut, plus froid sur le plan émotionnel. Moins intéressant et créatif visuellement. Et personnellement, moins proche et sympathique pour moi. En fait, le personnage principal et ses problèmes internes ne m'ont pas vraiment intéressé.

A pleasant and precise probe into the depths of imagination, phobias and desires of a middle-aged man which, after the "Forever Young" culmination, is shot down by a slushy and increasingly self-pitying second half with several fantastic scenes, for which I would probably need a shovel to get them out of my head. It is the brutal sincerity, given by the combination of an inner monologue and the intertwining of reality and subjective perspective, that does not ultimately work in favor of the film. Even so, I appreciate the creativity and the chance to show women what is happening in my head.
