Val Kilmer surprised by not being recognizable and also by losing quite a lot of weight. Finally. The film then surprised by being quite good and by managing to retain the charm of Twain's work, even in the sense that it is sometimes darker than it may seem at first glance. Moreover, the excellent accent of all the characters. Good.
