De prime abord, Lothar Schramm a tout du quarantenaire lambda, affublé d'une calvitie croissante, vaguement bedonnant et plutôt réservé. C'est évidemment sans compter ses petits hobbies « spéciaux » et ses obsessions étranges. Et s'il s'entend pas trop mal avec la prostituée d'à coté, sa propension à découper les colporteurs de bonne parole en fait un voisin inhabituel. (texte officiel du distributeur)

I won't claim that the movie "Schramm" impressed me, that I was blown away by it. It simply didn't. However, unlike other German authors of the early 90s, Jörg Buttgereit has one big advantage. It's not just about the disgust itself for him, but he tries to convey something. These thoughts may be twisted, but honestly - and that's the worst part - I can imagine that similar people simply exist, it can snap in them, and then we hear about them in the news.
