The woman was badly beaten, so she decides to escape with her children to her friend in Florida, where she will invest in a marijuana business. She will also involve the children to some extent by telling them about it. The fact that this film is based on a true story is probably the most crucial, as it enhances the impression that would otherwise be quite dull. It is still like that, but at least you can say that different things are happening.
