A film was made that doesn't excel in anything and only plays on the fact that we should sympathize with a blind girl. If I had the feeling that she was really a blind girl, it might work, but in this case, it is only a mildly daring, poorly thought-out, and quite inconspicuous story that builds on the idea of the film "Purge". Only this time, it's not about any truly tough concept but just a classic idea with a person trapped in their own home.

This year the competition in home-invasion movies is very strong and this fairy-tale about a blind girl and a violent cabinet maker in a yellow cloak (happy ending included) doesn’t have much of a chance of being well received by fussy viewers. Especially when, for most of the time, said cabinet maker just stands in a corner and does nothing, while Esmeralda tries to kill herself stepping on sharp objects and whatnot.
