Angela (Sigrid Thornton) is a young hair-dresser having a hard time making ends meet. Looking for a fast way to earn some extra money, she accepts a job working as a model. The Day After Halloween is a film that, upon a brief glance, has a rather interesting story. It's supposedly shot with the visual style of giallo, but in reality, it's closer to European art cinema, from which the artistic aspect eventually disappeared. There's very little horror here, which is a problem because the theme calls for it. But I guess that would just make it another uninteresting slasher movie.

Le thriller australien Snapshot frôle par moment, de par son style, le genre italien giallo et nous enivre la plupart du temps avec des plans inventifs et de la musique très particulière. Mais par pitié, pourquoi nous torturer avec un rythme aussi lent et une intrigue aussi désertique ? C’est visuellement beau, mais armez-vous d’une bonne dose de patience avant de le visionner !
