In the Iron Sky: The Coming Race, after Earth is destroyed by nuclear war a sparse population of human survivors take up temporary residence on the dark side of the Moon. When rumours surface about a hidden city in the hollow core of the Earth a small crew of humans go to investigate if it will be possible to reside there permanently. However, once they arrive they find that the city is populated by the Moon Nazis led by Adolf Hitler (Udo Kier). If they wish to save mankind they must first defeat Hitler and his army of evil reptilian creatures before it's too late. (101 Films)

I really looked forward to it, but this time the creators didn’t deliver the fun. There’s still some guilty-pleasure value and the special effects are quite good, but the story doesn’t hold together at all, and at times it looks as if it had been written by a gang of teenagers fresh out of a sci-fi movie marathon. The heroes are awful and you will find more humour on a date between a blind man and a deaf woman. I still love going back to the first one, but there’s no reason why this had to be made (though I’m sure it will have its fans).
