Nice premise, but it is not brought to a successful conclusion, it simply surprises but does not impress. The visual spectacle at the end is interesting, but overall it doesn't fit with the tone of the film and it feels inconsistent. Yes, parents should indeed not be opposed, but that can be said in a slightly different and more entertaining way. Good tricks won't save everything.
