In 1975 Claude Mulot gave a voice to the female sex in Pussy Talk, which became the biggest international hit of the freshly erected French adult film industry. Three years and several incredibly original and envelope-pushing porn movies later he returned to his breakout success. The long awaited sequel turns the original's feminist premise into an absurd farce targeting the prude high society and sexual norms in general. Mankind faces enslavement from its genitalia, when more and more vaginas and penises start voicing their interests. All hope to stop the yapping contagion rests on the groins of France's flashiest special agent and a scientist eager for empirical experiments. (The Shockproof Film Festival)

anglais Pussy Talk II is a grandiose sequel that takes the emancipatory premise of its predecessor and develops it into an absurd farce in which talking genitals declare a revolution against the people who hold them back from flourishing and fulfilling their needs. Claude Mulot then transforms this motif into a kind of porn parody of disaster movies, or rather films about epidemic outbreaks, where hope for the salvation of humanity rests on the shoulders or other parts (depending on the position) of an indefatigable secret agent and a dedicated female scientist, who together try to figure out how the genitals get their voice and why their expressiveness is spreading. The film is packed with crazy gags (the scientist’s empirical approach to sex), absurd details (the agent never puts his holstered pistol away in any circumstances) and, in particular, various elements ridiculing the rigidity of a society that on the surface has freed itself from carnal desire, but is at the same time irreconcilably bound to it (the sequence with the baroness and the servant). It is then no wonder that, at the end, Mulot does not submit to the genre conventions dictating a happy ending, but instead moves toward a logically inevitable climax in which people become mere walking appendages of their penises and vaginas. In the context of French and global pornography, Pussy Talk II is one of the most entertaining and subversive films of its kind; within Claude Mulot’s filmography, it is another in a series of magnificent masterpieces.
