Salut l'ami, adieu le trésor

Another one of those comedies by the duo Bud Spencer and Terence Hill that got me with its banality but also absurdity of everything that happens. Actually, it's nothing more than a treasure hunt on a deserted island, but there are enough ideas here to keep you entertained the whole time. And I was entertained the whole time. Although, of course, I have a weakness for the duo. (09/05/2016)

An excellent comedy that doesn't pretend to be anything great or intelligent, but importantly, maintains the highest level of entertainment throughout. The great Hill and Spencer once again excel in a story set on a small island inhabited by quirky natives and offer the viewer countless imaginative brawls and great gags. For me, it's simply the perfect film to fill a drizzly Sunday afternoon, and all those who gave it less than three stars must have been having a very bad day when they watched it. (03/07/2011)
