Un éminent scientifique de la société Kinetech découvre que ses employeurs ont choisi d’utiliser le robot qu’il a initialement mis au point dans un but humanitaire, à des fins militaires. Se sentant trahi et abusé, il décide de s’enfuir avec son invention avant qu’il ne soit trop tard, mais Cody le Robosapien est endommagé dans la course-poursuite. Abandonné dans une poubelle, il est alors récupéré et réparé par un jeune garçon de onze ans, très doué en technologie. Tous deux vont faire équipe afin de sauver leurs parents respectifs, retenus prisonniers par Kinetech. (Arcadès)

At first glance, a family movie, and at second glance, too. It's the kind of classic movie where you can immediately tell who the villain is, who is good, and how it will end. Why not, if only this piece didn't try to look so terribly good. Modern for the young, so of course a robot has to dance hip hop. The film is terribly sentimental, which is its problem. And the problem with most American movies. It just has to push too hard, as if there was no other way.
