anglais I really liked it. I don't know how it was that not a single character in a shōjo got on my nerves, but it worked. There wasn't a character that annoyed me, and in this genre that's saying something. :-) It wasn't flat, the characters were headed somewhere, they weren't afraid to apologize, plus it was nice that they acted human. You can't get rid of old habits, even if you like someone and try not to lose them. Haru knows that, but when you look at it, you inevitably get the feeling that they're all like that. Especially Shizuku. She was the most interesting character for me out of the whole anime – exploring feelings, going through new situations; they portrayed that very well with her. Plus, Haru wasn't merely lovestruck, so that already makes My Little Monster into something fundamentally better, something likeable. When you add to that the new friends, all the characters that hang around them, you come out with a very plastic anime that is a delight to watch and enjoy (and that made me chuckle, thanks to the characters). Plus, the animation is nice, appealing. Unfortunately, I'm quite annoyed that I have to wait for the sequel: I'm curious about the others (only the Nagoya one doesn't really grab me :-D). Who are they, what's in them? Of course the anime's not perfect, there were scenes here and there that didn't grab me in any way, but thirteen episodes is just a bit of a cake, so it's nice to skim through. A weaker 4 stars. ()
