The American production Joy Ride 3 does not have a great plot, and the ideas are pretty straightforward. This makes the movie too simple sometimes. However, it is unpretentious, which is kind of cool about it. It is supposed to be an action-packed B-movie that crosses over into horror by having a maniacal killer, which it succeeds at. There is tons of gore and bits of bodies flying around, which looks sickeningly believable, so it ends up quite a good movie.
