Stockholm, late 70's. The model utopian society. Political neutrality and atomic power march hand in hand with women's liberation and the sexual revolution. Quelque peu suffocant et perturbant. Le public est terrorisé par une BO électronique des années 80 (on se croirait à mi-chemin entre un film d’horreur italien kitsch et Commando de James Horner). Le film ne prend réellement son envol que dans le dernier quart. Avant ça, il tire en longueur et la prostitution de l’héroïne est montrée dans beaucoup trop d’exemples. Mais l’ambiance, le jeu des acteurs et le final sont très bons. En retirant 20 à 30 minutes, ce serait de la bombe. J’insisterais aussi un peu plus sur la tension et le sexe.

I have to say I liked this film. Not by what it depicts, but by how it's depicted. The retro vibe is gorgeous, and it's polished off by how everyone is dressed and the occasionally otherworldly pace. It works perfectly. The guys here are truly disgusting, and some women no less, but even the victims here aren't real victims. That's also what the '70s looked like.
