Gloriously twisted brutally demented and devilishly entertaining Among Friends features scenes of extreme of torture mutilation and murder... just the kind of thing you'd expect from the directorial debut of one of horror's most iconic leading ladies Danielle Harris. A group of friends get together for an 80's themed murder mystery dinner party but as the drugs kick in and the torture begins, it becomes clear that one of them has decided to take the fun and games to a whole new level. Featuring a top notch cast and cameos from genre legends like Michael Biehn, Kane Hodder and Danielle Harris herself, Among Friends is a brilliantly funny, acerbic splatter-piece that won't disappoint. anglais We’ve already had something like this this year: a group of characters-victims around a table, a psychopath and the reveal of the hidden dark secrets of each of the characters. It’s pretty well executed, Danielle Harris can continue directing. I also liked the cameo of Xavier Gense in the very trippy meta scene. I would have liked this film more if the guilt of all the victims was uniform and more basic. 60 % ()
