anglais What is absolutely crucial for depicting madness in "The Mafu Cage" are the images that are presented to us, camera shots, or the static capturing of a certain place. The whole effect is also subordinate to the musical aspect, which either completely lacks or consists of tribal music. All of this creates the impression that you are truly facing one of the forms of madness. In terms of plot, it is completely about nothing, visually interesting, but definitely not a pinnacle of symbolic work. For some, the film may not say anything at all, but for others, it can strongly affect them with its depression. ()
