This first part of the film is absolutely fantastic. At first glance, the narrator describes absurd and unnecessary details, which then in the second part come together and suddenly make sense. This is a beautiful play with action and reaction. It's like assembling a complicated device whose only purpose is for a ball to pass through it and do something at the end. It's inventive and often very humorous.
