Season 1 has everything the pilot promised and more. Zoe falls for a Bluebell redneck, relationships become complicated and the Confederate weirdness thickens. Yet it's a shame that those pivotal moments from the finale don't work all that well if one knows the series will be continuing. If it's called Hart of Dixie, Zoe is never going to change her name and return to New York. What would the series be about then? However, the love polygons here are truly original and that's why we enthusiastically continue watching more and more episodes.
