Home Sweet Alabama ♥ The American South in this form is love at first sight. How long will it take to run this marathon if it's so good? It doesn't even matter that it's all about the doctor. It's brisk, funny, charming, confederate... and with beautiful scenery and great cinematography. I'm in over my head. And they have crocodiles and frogs :D The cast is also amazing, especially Jaime King. (07/11/2012)

Season 1 has everything the pilot promised and more. Zoe falls for a Bluebell redneck, relationships become complicated and the Confederate weirdness thickens. Yet it's a shame that those pivotal moments from the finale don't work all that well if one knows the series will be continuing. If it's called Hart of Dixie, Zoe is never going to change her name and return to New York. What would the series be about then? However, the love polygons here are truly original and that's why we enthusiastically continue watching more and more episodes. (09/01/2019)

Season 2 is all nice and settled and happy now, and while the cliffhanger of the first one was still about Zoe surprising us all with her romance with Wade, now they're having a double date with George and his other half. There's also the adorable situation between Lemon, Lavon, and the sweetest Annabeth in the whole world. (09/01/2019)
