Sophie et Jason, un couple trentenaire, vivent dans un petit appartement à Los Angeles. Dans un mois, ils adopteront Paw Paw, un chat abandonné. Un peu paniqués à l'idée de perdre leur liberté, ils quittent leur travail et se donnent 30 jours pour accomplir leurs rêves. Sophie et Jason vont tenter toutes les expériences jusqu'à traverser l'espace-temps pour donner une nouvelle chance à leur futur. (Haut et Court)

Miranda July is probably a little bit nuts. I cannot say that The Future is thoroughly a bad movie. I just had a feeling that I spent hour and a half watching two aliens that do not belong into this world. However, the ending was shocking, but it also confirmed that Sophie and Jason are really two weirdos about whom I can say nothing good. I admire that this independent American piece tried to be unique with the cat in it. But maybe there was more depression than was necessary.
