anglais Somehow I cannot shake off the feeling that I just saw something that was very much like a soap opera, although it did have some surprising elements that the writers of soap operas probably would not have thought of, and I did not find it as moronic. Furthermore, I quite liked the love story, or rather the portrayal of it, and the way the anime's creators guided us through the main female protagonist's feelings and inner world quite well. I also had an idea that stuck in my head, that getting a jellyfish tank at home is a great idea. On the other hand, what annoyed me was the tenants of Amamizukan. Somehow I could not get on with this group, and they were extremely unlikable, much like the "Ugly Girls Club" in Ugly Betty. Otherwise, some characters were portrayed strangely (such as the shy thirty-year-old virgin, the career woman, and the modern emancipated woman = bitch, the best female character was the main male protagonist), which has been mentioned here on FilmBooster by a few reviewers before me. It made me rather uncomfortable, and I cannot say I liked it much. What I enjoyed was the soundtrack; which was quite good. All in all, this show is exactly one of those where there were things I liked and things I did not like, and therefore, the result is somewhere in the middle - 5/10. ()

anglais I want seconds! :-) A house full of weirdos is visited by Kuranosuke, who also has his own perversion. No one in this anime was normal, and that may have caused me to see them all as perfectly normal over time. I had fun with them, and I wanted to see what would happen next. This anime is the only one from the 2010 fall season where I listened to both the opening and the ending every time. Both are absolutely brilliant and fitting – both visually and musically. The quirkiness of the characters was so nice and accessible that I looked forward to the next episode every time. A better 4 stars. It's not for nothing that I would call josei my favorite genre ^^ ()
