3 collègues de bureau s'arrêtent au distributeur bancaire sur le parking désert d'un centre commercial afin de retirer de l'argent avant d'aller au restaurant. Alors qu'ils s'apprêtent à sortir du local qui abrite le distributeur, un inconnu les fixe depuis l'extérieur. Son visage est dissimulé par la capuche de son anorak qui le protège du froid. C'est un psychopathe et il vient d'assassiner sous leurs yeux une personne qui s'approchait. Terrifiés, sans moyen de communication, les 3 jeunes gens se barricadent pour échapper au tueur mais le chauffage est coupé et la température avoisine -15°C. (Metropolitan FilmExport)

Christ on a cross! This is some very lightweight horror for very undemanding viewers… It’s pretty decently made, but everything is so derivative that, already a few minutes after watching, I hardly remember anything. And no, there isn’t any German hiding things at my place. But on top of it, it pissed me off passively, rather than actively.

The movie "ATM" is a disappointment for me because I thought - after watching the trailer - that it could be a good thriller. It is not a good thriller because it does not build up tension well. The interesting starting situation is led to an expected and uninteresting end, only to be followed by a dull and uninteresting twist, in line with the whole movie. Weak, but it might still appeal to someone. On TV.
