Two young couples are driving through a remote forest when their car breaks down. When a run-in with a curious grizzly bear ends up with the bear being shot to death, the bear's mate arrives on the scene and vengefully attacks their van. The couples are trapped inside the disabled car and must come up with clever ways to survive. Bear is a film that disappoints in its main aspect, what you would expect from it - good scenes with bears and solid survival elements. In reality, it's more of a human drama about someone doing something they shouldn't have, and the bears are actually seeking revenge for this as well. No, that doesn't really sound like something one would enjoy watching. There's no tension here, no compelling shots, just long stretches of waiting for nothing.

At the beginning it looks like decent (average) entertainment, then it begins to get boring, and by the end I was just annoyed, even if it is far from long.
