He doesn't push on the saw, Vash doesn't go crazy at any cost, but only when it's convenient, and western games don't have to drown in sci-fi settings. Although things like plants are still being dealt with, at its core it's about a one-time cowboy adventure that the authors could fully devote to and not write it as obligatory filler that put me to sleep so much in the series. And it's just a shame that Ameria only appears in the movie. This type of female character was actually quite missing in the original Trigun.
