Le Dernier Exorcisme : Part II

"The Last Exorcism 2" is simply an unnecessary film that was probably made because exorcism horror movies are popular again these days. This has resulted in an abundance of such films, and in such a quantity it becomes evident that only a few of them are actually worth watching. "The Last Exorcism 2" is not one of them because it is not capable of creating the right atmosphere. Scenes that you have already seen elsewhere will hardly scare you a second time. (06/03/2015)

An extremely forced whole of nothing, a massive drop from a very decent first part. Part II has absolutely nothing interesting. It doesn’t bring in anything new, uses the same clichéd motifs to scare – those we know from loads of other movies about ghosts or exorcism – and on top of that, the protagonist has nothing that would generate any sympathy towards her.
