The American movie The Revenant is entertaining, although it also contains deep social commentary, which is what I liked about this horror comedy. It is not an original idea, although the concept is not bad at all and has a point. The decision to include a few action-oriented scenes makes it interesting, contrary to what the running time would suggest. Although The Revenant is not a unique cinematic experience, it is good enough.
