After a boat carrying diplomats disappears on Venezuela's Orinoco River, Navy Seal Jason Fitch (Paul Logan) is called in to investigate an assumed assassination plot. But something much bigger and deadlier is the culprit: a mutant strain of giant, ferocious piranha. Genetics researcher Sarah Monroe (1980's pop star Tiffany) has discovered that they're quickly doubling in size and heading north to the ocean. Jason and Sarah must team up to stop the massive fish from devouring everything-and anyone-in their path. (texte officiel du distributeur)

anglais I thought that nothing could surprise me anymore. I’ve seen giant octopuses, zombie water sprites, killer tomatoes, Teletubbies and the Turkish Star Wars, but never anything like this! Mega Piranha is truly exceptional, and this is not something I’m saying in the short term wonder of the latest shite I watched that’s still fresh in my memory; no, this is something truly unprecedented. I no longer think that Asylum are a bunch of incompetents, rather, they are creators that some day will be very famous among the fans of certain film subcultures and will enjoy cult status – thanks to stuff like Mega Piranha. anglais Mega Piranha is just a classic horror film that you get when you're in the mood for some B-movie from an American production company. What's worst is the fact that they don't even care about how the monsters will look anymore; it's just about cramming in as many shots of actors who won't entertain you anyway. Only watch this film at your own risk, or if you are a die-hard fan of the genre. ()
