anglais The Madagascar Christmas Special offers a slightly wilder take than Shrek’s, but in the end, they are comparable stories to the original feature films. The old familiar gang tries to work together to deliver all the presents after Santa has an accident, which doesn't come without some trouble. There's even a weird love line between the reindeer and a Private, but whatever, it worked between Gloria and Melman, too. Oh, and of course there's a noticeable nudge toward realizing the nature of Christmas. ()

anglais And again, the classic "Madagascar". It can be quite annoying at times, but here and there you can find a good joke that will impress you. I like these characters, but longer movies suit them a bit more, mainly because this holiday twist feels too artificial. Santa in "Madagascar" just doesn't fit for me. It's a very personal feeling, but I think I won't be the only one. Interesting relationships are unfolding here, but actually unnecessarily, because they don't have an influence on the main plot. Like a TV appetizer? Why not, in the end. During Christmas, one can tolerate a lot. ()
