Michael doit de l'argent au plus terrible gangster de Dublin, Darren Perrier, quand sa meilleure amie Brenda tire accidentellement sur un de ses acolytes. Pour ajouter au drame, Jim, le père de Michael arrive juste à temps pour voir la scène. Perrier's Bounty may be a mediocre effort plot-wise, which most of all feels like an adaptation of a short story whose author was inspired by the atmosphere of popular films... But thanks to fantastic Jim Broadbent and a truly original narrator with Gabriel Byrne's voice, I'll throw in a fourth star after all. Enjoy watching.

I might have given this movie three stars, if it hadn’t been for Irish actors such as Murphy, Gleeson and Whittaker and the setting hadn’t been the Irish countryside. As I love all these actors as well as the Irish countryside, I had to add one more star. It is true that as gangster films go, this one is a bit weak. Gleeson, however, is a villain par excellence and if nothing else, he alone makes the movie worth watching.
