If it weren't just another variation of "The Phantom of the Opera," I might have been willing to give it more credit because the animation is definitely not bad. But in terms of the plot, it just felt weak to me, just a chase after a monster with all the classic elements you'd expect from a similar film. The characters are fine, but I didn't find them great either.
