Thrown naked into a desolate room with thirteen strangers, Tonya (Ailsa Marshall) discovers that she is the final contestant in a deadly game. Restrained by lethal electronic collars, the players must utilize hints and tools from a box marked "pieces" to find both an exit and the reason for their abduction. One by one the players are eliminated as their "curfew" begins and the lights go out. With each dead body comes another clue, which they use to discover that one of them is the killer. The question is... which one? (Accent Film Entertainment)

anglais This what Saw LXIV will look like. Breathing Room is a very cheap looking representative of reality-horror (several people are locked somewhere and they don’t know how they got there and why) that doesn’t care about the logical behaviour of the characters or their psychology. And yet, I was curiously waiting for the ending, to see how things would turn out, and they turn out really weird (thumbs down). If the ending was better, I would add another star, but this time I have to be strict. 30% ()

anglais "Saw" was a clever film, regardless of what you may think about its sequels. "Cube" was also a clever film, but in its case, only the first installment. "Escape Room" is just parasitizing on an interesting idea, which remained completely unused. There is not a hint of invention or effort to tell a story that would be even slightly interesting. Moreover, it's also quite poorly directed. ()
