Trois très beaux documents qui retracent la découverte des îles Galápagos, la particularité de certains de leurs îles ainsi que l'unicité des animaux qui y vivent (et certains d'entre eux vivent même uniquement sur ces îles). Dommage que les sujets des trois épisodes se chevauchent et que certaines prises de vue et parties des commentaires reviennent même plusieurs fois. Conceptuellement, il aurait été plus judicieux de se concentrer sur un sujet différent pour chaque partie. En particulier, l'emballage spectaculaire des 3 DVD en papier rigide mérite des éloges, rappelant plus un beau livre qu'une simple boîte de DVD.
