anglais The original Fullmetal Alchemist was owed a magnificent ending, and the creators preferred to jump straight to a film – a film that is atypical, occasionally seems mismatched to the series, but that dignifiedly draws the curtain over the entire adventure of the Elric brothers and their friends. Our reality functions perfectly and juicily as an alternative to the known world, even if characters long dead can now be seen in an unexpected light and the characteristically transformed environment. While we don't get the ultimate closure from which there is no need to keep going (some of us were still yearning for that until the last episode of the "true adaptation", Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood), the feeling that something great is leaving at its peak still didn't leave me throughout the entire running time. Farewell (for now). ()
