Terrible, really terrible. What filmmakers have been able to do with digital effects is terrible because they simply lack restraint. The 3D digital hippo here is truly repulsive, and I actually quite like those animals. Absolutely botched, bad, cheap, and just a substitute for something that's already been here or is yet to come, as the title itself suggests.
