La Terre, il y a soixante-cinq millions d'années. Une colonie de lémuriens menant une existence paisible sur une île paradisiaque découvre par hasard un oeuf de dinosaure. Lorsque la coquille se fissure, c'est un petit iguanodon qui en sort... Les lémuriens le recueillent et le baptisent Aladar. Celui-ci grandit parmi eux, jusqu'au jour où une météorite détruit l'île et contraint tout le monde à l'éxil. Ils trouvent refuge auprès d'un groupe de dinosaures voyageant à la recherche de la terre des Nids. Très vite, Aladar se heurte a Kron, l'impitoyable chef... (texte officiel du distributeur)

The 39th Disney Feature Film This is very weak. Dinosaur is not so much a Disney feature as it is a display of new technology. Which is a shame. For this to work as a standalone film, it would have to work better with the opening premise, which is only a shadow of Tarzan.

It's really a children's film first and foremost, and unlike many other animated films it doesn't offer much to adults, so I think it's pointless to go through the inaccuracies and count the mistakes. If nothing else, one can just simply watch Dinosaur, because the production design is good and James Newton Howard's music is beautiful. I would like to highlight the Czech dubbing, which has a much more interesting cast than the original one (Jiri Langmajer, Jaroslav Satoranský, Květa Fialová...).
