Après maintes péripéties, il va être confronté à la décision la plus importante de sa vie: rentrer chez lui pour retrouver Andy et les jouets ou rester pour devenir une pièce rare de musée. anglais Although this is rather dated in comparison to its younger brothers in technical terms, but it is still the best that Pixar has yet rolled out in terms of feature length movies. Which, given how humdrum part one was, is a very pleasant surprise. The pace and frequency of jokes is boundless. And, as a bonus, we get the outtakes during the closing credits (Bug’s Life 2 is outstanding). ()

anglais The second part of the toy series not only does not spoil the reputation of the brilliant original, but it also quotes it, remembers it, and transfers its idea into new twists and grander intentions. Instead of going to the pizzeria and to the neighbors, this time we will go a good distance further, we will experience one sincere tear-invoking moment, and maybe Zurg will also come. Ideas are raining from Pixar, and the older I get, the more I shake my head at how everything can fit together so perfectly like this. ()

anglais So, today I found out I hadn’t seen Toy Story 2, or not the whole thing anyway. Although it wasn’t as good as part one, it’s still excellent fun, full of gags, references to other movies, and toys. Plus, Geri makes a guest appearance! ()

anglais A solid sequel that has everything: old-school adventure nostalgia, great humour, superb animation and fun genre references, and also gives new perspective to the coexistence of the toys and their fate in human lives. The storyline with the rescuers and the brilliant secondary characters is a lot funnier perhaps, but the new faces around Woody fit well and their story not only looks good (the beautiful scene with the toy repairman), but also merge perfectly into the original action-packed climax. This series has an upwards trend, something I believe the amazing third part confirmed. 90% ()

anglais When I watch basically any "Toy Story" installment, I feel like I'm returning to the same world. It is logical, because those characters are the same, but it's more about returning to a world of the same quality. All the installments are exceptional in some way, interesting in some way. I was incredibly entertained by all of them, and deeply moved as well. ()
