anglais The somewhat indecisive oscillation between a thriller and a horror ultimately leads to a completely empty outcome at the final verdict. A straightforward plot with a somewhat unrefined concept might still be acceptable, but at times the direction loses any sense and the story drags on without purpose, seemingly against the will of either the characters or the audience's mind, making the ending highly anticipated and welcomed. The clumsy acting of the protagonists is hardly even worth mentioning, although Jenna, portrayed by Katheryn Winnick, at least partially comes out with a cleaner slate, as every man will be compelled to turn a blind eye when looking at her body. When you factor in the open ending and the absolutely sickeningly brutal disposal of the black cat against the wall, the film ends up earning a measly two stars and I'd rather forget it very quickly.
