The earlier Steven Seagal film age like fine wine, the older they are, the more irresistible feeling of nostalgia I get while watching them. Seagal perfectly captured the era (1988-1995) where he showcased his action style. As a tough and proud action hero, he is perfect. Additionally, there is a dense story with a relatively strong romantic undertone and excellent action scenes, the brutality of which occasionally leaves you stunned – the stuntmen must have been paid in gold. Hard to Kill cannot be compared to the current trend of action films, where there is as much vulgarity and perverse humor as there are bullets fired from a machine gun (which is not meant to disparage modern action movies), this is a significantly different wave.
