Le regard télévisuel dégrade le scénario original et remarquable. Lorsque le film commence à devenir absurde voire involontairement ridicule, le point culminant cool le sauve de tomber dans la médiocrité et vaut la réflexion et la discussion. Entre les mains du Cronenberg des années 80, ça aurait été autre chose !
