While on his honeymoon, an doctor is attacked by a swarm of bats and is bitten. At first, the doctor seems fine, but his new bride insists that he go to a nearby hospital for a rabies shot. Even though The Bat People has its flaws, and even though it doesn't excel at anything, I think it's good enough for an average rating. This is simply a film I consider good, one that's ordinary but enjoyable in its ordinariness. This fact was enough for me to enjoy watching it this time and to finally decide to give the film at least the average rating I give it.
