anglais Count Drac... um, Count Mora is tyrannizing Transyl... um, Bohemia, inhabited by gyps... um, the Romani people and Sherlo... um, the genius Detective Neumann from Prague is hot on his heels. Plus it has a considerable portion of rusty Czech (hilarious fun for us Czechs to listen to!). But if I ignore this unintentionally amusing aspect, this is basically an absolutely average genre piece of its day that doesn’t even surprise with the twist at the end. It would have been more interesting if they had used the originally considered ending with a more emotive twist. ()
