anglais Thanks to its obvious close links to a series completely unknown here in the Czech Republic, this is almost impossible to evaluate. Nicole Kidman can be as cute as she likes, but she can’t save a sub-standard, uninteresting and unfunny screenplay. No sparks are struck off between the central duo. It is exceedingly talkative, but the dialogs are empty and pointless. The humor is pretty simple, but (probably) considering what it is based on, that is what the creators wanted. Other than the main storyline, all other storylines just fizzle out and not even the main story has anything to say. Despite all of the negatives and ailments that a romantic comedy can suffer from, the result is surprisingly watchable. Despite it being absolutely average in all respects, I don’t really know why, but I can’t condemn this piece. Probably thanks to Nicole... ()

anglais The style of humor and quality corresponds to the original series, which was seen on Austrian television at the time. A typical mindless popular culture affair that this film brought back from oblivion. Nothing more can be said about its qualities than that my two children in middle school age really liked it. On the other hand, I have to appreciate the acting qualities and charms of Nicole Kidman, whose naivety and directness can motivate anyone, especially male viewers, to give the film a higher rating. Overall impression: 25%. ()

anglais It's so stupid it hurts. It definitely must have hurt in the movie theater. And yet the subject matter is decent. Oh, I get it. This is the toll of the idiotic romantic comedy that Nicole had to pay to maintain her popularity on all fronts... ()

anglais Will Ferrell didn't convince me he was a comedian this time either. I only smiled at his smug jerk a few times in the whole movie (I didn't laugh once) and nothing else. But I watched Bewitched mainly for the presence of Michael Caine, who thankfully did not disappoint. The scenes in which this bard appears are among the best. Too bad the filmmakers didn't conclude his storyline at all... So, one star for Caine, another for the (literally) charming Nicole, a couple of jokes he makes about filming sitcoms, and the final exit. ()

anglais I don't really like Nicole Kidman. She seems... I just don't like her, but she looked really cute in the movie "Bewitched." Actually, if I had to summarize the whole film, I would probably use the word cute. Or harmless. The film goes back to an old TV classic that we basically don't know here, but it's not that important, although it is true that we won't have the same connection to the characters as American viewers. But it doesn't matter because everything essential is explained in the film, and again, quite cutely. The presence of actors like Michael Caine or Shirley MacLaine helps a lot. Will Ferrell is just the right comedic seasoning. Sometimes he's awkward, sometimes truly funny, simply an absolute classic in his case. What slightly disappointed me about the film is the fact that it could have had many more jokes. After all, there are witches in our world, and it's a romantic comedy. There would have been plenty of scenes. At the beginning, the film actually uses this, but then it turns into a comedy that also tries to point out the extravagance of American TV stars. The effect in this regard is not too great, it is mainly a comedic element. The actors deliver quite good performances, but the romantic comedy doesn't exceed the shadow of classic American romance too much. The important thing is that the film is likable, and it truly is. Likable and cute. More: http://www.filmovy-denik.cz/2012/10/zitra-nehrajeme-lovci-dinosauru.html ()
