Mitsuha est une jeune fille de 18 ans que l'on prend souvent pour une collégienne en raison de son visage enfantin et de sa petite taille. L'histoire commence lorsqu'elle perd ses parents et son frère aîné dans un accident et se retrouve alors seule au monde. À cause du choc, elle échoue à ses examens d'entrée à l'université tandis que des personnes cherchent à s’emparer de l’argent de l'assurance-vie de ses parents. Un peu perdue et alors qu'elle se demande comment elle va survivre, elle reçoit un mystérieux pouvoir lui permettant d'aller et venir entre « notre monde » et un « isekai » ! À présent, elle élabore un plan astucieux pour préparer son avenir dans lequel elle prévoit d’économiser 1 milliard de yens dans chaque monde, soit un total de 2 milliards de yens (80 000 pièces d'or) ! anglais When watching a series where two worlds intertwine, and things from one world interfere with the other, I have a pretty good idea about how things should work, and I can guess how society would react to such drastic changes and things that were previously unknown. Well, such notions of how a fantasy feudal society would react to many of the conveniences of the modern world greatly diverge from what I've witnessed here. It’s also why I found a lot of the situations incredibly dumb, unrealistic, and inadequate. I had a hard time believing that things could work like that. The last two episodes, which felt like a failed parody of Gate, pretty much took the cake. My overall impression of the series was only saved by its relaxed atmosphere and a fairly likable main character, but it wasn’t enough to change my mind about this being incredibly silly, and not in a good way. While it was watchable, I just didn’t buy it, and even if I wanted to, I wouldn't give it more than a 4/10. ()
